The Walmarts here have and I've seen numerous complaints from around the country. I would add that Walmart coporate felt so strongly about this problem they they modified their recommended staffing levels even reversing their previous staffing cuts citing, specifically, their inability to keep stores properly stocked and staffed. That seems significant to me.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Asked one of the Walmart employees if they were going out of business and they said they "don't know what is going on and have not been giving any explanation".
I can understand the ammo shortage but everything else in low supply has me scratching my head.
Anyone else noticed bare shelves at your local Walmart?
The reason for this? Wal-Mart is relying only on part-time workers and have too few workers on any given shift at one time.A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

I hope they at least kick everyone making fraudulent purchases and/or engaging in violence during this outage off the welfare rolls.
Update (2:13 p.m.) Walmart still investigating incident
PHILADELPHIA — Walmart spokesperson Kayla Whaling called to clarify that although local police officials are not looking into the incident, the company has not ruled out pressing charges.
“We haven’t made any type of determination. Our focus continues to be on our customers,” she said.
“We’re still looking into the situation as a whole.”
When asked if it was a possibility that they would file charges she said, “I wouldn’t say that, but, we are continuing to look into the situation.”
