On the 870 Express the barrel can be changed without tools. You can get lighter barrels that flare toward the receiver. -

Them, and everyone around them. You shoot 40 bullets at random and they're going to hit something. But drive by shootings apparently fail to hit their intended target way more often than they succeed. It would seem that gangsters are pretty incompetent at the whole assassination thing.
