In other words, in red counties in outer bum****istan, the three people who live in the county all own 50 guns each and vote Republi-can. But there's no crime because there's only 3 people in the whole county.

Former Republican presidents Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan did support the Brady bill. They (along with Jimmy Carter) wrote a letter to Congress in 1994, here quoted in the LA Times:
