If 50-60% of fracking equipment operators in Ohio are drug addicts, you can tell how many lives have been lost so far?

I thought DD was in favor of less government, not more.

                    Okay to seriousnessnusness!!!

                    The question was
What is the correlation between testing positive and being a drug addict?
, which I took to infer that even a positive result had little worth.

My response was to the effect that the a positive result was showing that something was wrong, and should we in good conscience ignore that red light?

So really, how does comparing the risk of hiring someone using illegal intoxicants compare with removing firearms from an entire law abiding population?

(I'm still going with Robots FTW!!!, btw.)
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Shouldn't people be able to drop the drugs for a week or whatever to pass the test?

I know many drug users who do such things. If someone can't do so.... does that mean they have a problem?

I think with marijuana you have to stop using it for something like a month to avoid it being detected. But if you want a job, you should be able to do that. If you can't, you have a problem.
