I am pleased to report that I haven't had a Papa John's pizza (or Domino's, or Pizza Hut) in this century, and thus will not be telling anyone they are a **** for what pizza chain they happen to frequent.

MrFun, did you even read his comments? I can't find the exact ones online... but not a single direct quote of him that I can find has involved anything like what you're saying. Every single time, the article is 'CEO SAYS HE WILL CUT HOURS' but then the quotes say something tame, like 'I think it will cause some people to reduce hours or increase pizza costs' or don't even go that far.

Staff working 30 hours a week can produce just as good a pizza as staff working 35 or 40 hours a week. Not that it matters, because Papa John's ought to be willing to take a fairly significant hit in quality to avoid having to pay for health insurance.Comment
