I can tell the difference, culturally, between people from mainland China and Hong Kong...not to mentino Japanese vs Koreans.

For example, Koreans play Starcraft, the Japanese play Monster Hunter, and the Chinese do Karaoke.

Everyone knows that Karaoke is a Japanese pastime. The Chinese relax dancing to patriotic tunes

I think to some degree many immigrants would prefer more rule of law if they come from an unstable country.

So, specifically, my experience is with the kids of Chinese/Japanese/Korean immigrants. They tend to be pretty similar, because obviously they're mostly just American with a touch of their parent's culture, but they tend to absorb the more pan-asian aspects of it. I hope that makes more sense.

I hope you understand that your experience with the kids of those immigrants is no more valid that my own experiences, or anyone else's, and maybe we should instead rely on those who actually grew up in those cultures to make that assessment?

I don't profess to be an expert in Chinese and Korean immigrant cultures just because I ****ed Chinese and Korean girls before I met my wife.
