I was going to go with more of a middle schooler, but I guess yours works too.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I, oh I get it. Compassionate people agree with Asher's prioritization of all social ills exactly.
If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

I have no more words for you, HC. You genuinely make me sad.

Maybe then you'll stop replying with monstrously idiotic posts now. Excellent

Here's hoping that next time there's a thread on abortion or resource extraction or Israel you'll steer clear.

I wish you could see how most other people see you. It's not as flattering as you seem to think it would be.

It's like the loud nerdy child at a table with grownups who echos daddy's philosophies without critical thought and mentally blocks out all opportunities to cross-examine what you think you know. You don't even know what you don't know. It's just noise on a site like this.

The % reported is based solely off unemployment benefits paid. Not everyone qualifies. Not everyone gets a job in the time frame. Not everyone is working to their capability based on education and/or experience.
Which also means that pre-recession unemployment was higher than reported and that a drop from 10% to 7.8% is still a drop. Sorry, to use reason to clarify your mindless rant.

Sorry HC, but Asher is right here. Someday you'll look back at your posts here and think, "God, was I really such a tool?" Although, it will be the future so you'll probably use some futuristic slang like smeghead instead of tool.

You have no idea how right you are, but not for the reasons you're thinking.

To be fair, I look back on my posts when I was HC's age and I think that as well.
Although, to be fair again, I always posted with much more humour and style than he does. I was probably more right-wing than he is now, too.

Ditto. Man, I'm just glad there aren't many people still around from when I started posting here back in 1998.

Romney will win, leading America into the 19th century.
There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

Does anyone else have a hard time believing that people like HC care about the unemployed?

Everything you said is correct, Slowwy. It's been correct since the time the started recording unemployment, however, not since Obama became president.

                                ACK!
