    • I thought about getting an SR22 at the gun show last weekend but decided against it since I realized I wouldn't have much opportunity to shoot it.
If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

Picked up a SR22 Friday, got a Bayonet for my M1 for Xmas.
Hope that that brown stuff are protection oil otherwise my old sargeant would have kicked your ass so hard that he would have problems pulling his boot out of it

What's the condition of that M1 ? The one that the army equipped me with was so worn that I could pull out the backpiece (?) without disassembling it properly. Despite that, it was extremely accurate even on 300 m.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

        • Wait, the Danish army still issues M1s?

            • I was in the artillery and hauled around a 105 mm howitzer with a 1943 production stamp.

              • Just a note - M1 was actually a good gun that made even mediocre soldiers quite good at long ranges. It sucked immensly in close combat where AK47 is the winner.

Brand new stock and barrel. The reciever and trigger group were re-parkerized. It's a WW2 serial # reciever but it's a FrankenGarand that looks like it just came from the factory.

Hell, that don't mean nothing. Some USN ships still had M1s aboard in the early 90s.

So conscripts got Garands and the professionals got...what? FALs? G-3s?

I have a repro m1905 bayonet and I'm working out how to attach it to an ar-15 because 16" blade bayonets are cool.

                              • Why should I get a different hobby when I already enjoy this one plenty?
