Yes, that is my favorite terror map for exactly that reason. Get your sniper up that ladder to the elevated portion of the highway on the left, and fire away.

If you can't get LOS with a sniper with squadsight then that is your fault.

If you can't get LOS with a sniper with snap shot, it's also your fault. They are both LOS perks. To not be able to establish LOS with a free move means you're way way out of position.

True, but squad sight massively increases range--potentially from one end of the map to the other. You can keep squad sight sniper back out of harm's way; she can kill enemies that can't even see her. Snap sight sniper has to reveal her position to those she is firing at (and, potentially, missing).

There is no reason to build them whatsoever. It speeds research by 30%.

I may have said this here or at Penny Arcade but there are only a handful of missions where I would prefer Snapshot and even then it's debatable.

I hope not. I put a lot into this one and while I did lose France, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, and Mexico, the rest are at no more than 3 panic, with most of them only at 1 or 2. My Doom meter is 3 blips away from losing but the countries are all well away from leaving.

Not having any higher level officers makes the game very very difficult especially if you're facing elite mutons and floaters.
