How can you claim Romney is doing better at fundraising when Obama has raised more money than Romney? What standard do you use for "better?"

It's a stupid standard anyway: if one's expenditures of funds is ineffective, then the ability to raise them is completely irrelevant to the campaign.

Actually, it looks like Obama has pulled ahead in the overall fundraising race. My bad. You're right, and I was wrong.

Those darn lying mythmakers at the NYT.

Seriously dude, do you ever actually check any of these bull**** right wing talking points, or do you just have faith in FOX?

Apparently the Obama campaign is the incompetent one now? It's so hard to keep track of these constructed media narratives...

WASHINGTON — President Obama’s campaign is working feverishly to restore its momentum after a lackluster debate performance last week, an effort that began with a conference call 10 minutes before the debate even ended and led to new advertisements, a rewritten stump speech, a carefully timed leak and a reversal of months-old strategy.

Perhaps most important as the president’s team struggles to put his campaign back on track is a renewed effort to win the three remaining debates, starting with Thursday’s face-off between Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and Representative Paul D. Ryan. Mr. Biden began traveling to a Delaware hotel on Sunday for three days of debate camp.

If it's down to Joe to right the ship, how paniced is the Obama campaign?

It's fairly common to blame the campaigns rather than the candidates. Romney's campaign was faulted for his miserable performance before the debate and will likely be blamed for the return of that poor performance after now.

Is it a comeback when you're still ahead?

The latest Pew poll puts Romney ahead by 4 points.

That was after their "likely voter" adjustments. They also found that 36% of likely voters identify as Republicans, and 31% Democrats. In the middle of September, a previous poll by Pew found that 29% of likely voters identify as Republicans and 39% identify as Democrats. That previous poll had given Obama an 8 point lead.

They should let Obama win a second term......why you ask?....because it means there will NEVER be another minority as President in my life time and probably the next 200 years.

Actually the economy will probably do pretty well in the next four years and whoever wins will probably have good approval ratings. Letting Mitt Romney take credit for 12 million new jobs would, of course, be a disaster for America.

I think it's vastly preferable to the subtle racism displayed by other racists on this website.
