You simply assume that I think the NOI is taking over. In fact I make no such claim. All I'm saying is that Chicago Democrats are empowering a black supremacist movement. I think that speaks to the intellectual bankruptcy of that political party. I think that it's terrible for Chicago and even the US-not because it means the NOI is taking over but because the Democrats have just granted them an audience to spew their hatred and an opportunity to present themselves as protectors of the community.

Edit: and frankly why do have to repeat myself? Earlier I wrote:

I'm saying the Dems are making a mistake in assuming that people will turn to them after seeking NOI protection. I'm saying that mistake will cost a great deal to Chigaco, long term maybe even the US. Because it empowers the NOI. The history books aren't written yet and the NOI may rise or (hopefully) fall for other reasons. But if they do Americans and the Dems in particular will have only themselves to blame for the cost to society.

"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

This is quite possibly the most desperate attempt to smear a political party I've ever seen. I can tell you now that the chances of the Nation of Islam "rising" are zero. They've been empowered to do what, report any crimes they see?

It's a small step from saying "this is what you're entitled to as a race" to "go out and take what you're entitled to by force." This is the ideology being promoted by the Nation of Islam.
The concept of race isn't an ideology, it's a social construct.

This is amazing. Aid and empower a black supremacist group and you're hunky dory. Here you all are protesting this will cause nothing, do nothing, ever. Then you have the gall to say you care about opposing racism. You don't.

I'd be wiling to bet there are more than a few white supremicists in the Republican party.

Half of the country are haters if half of the country are against equal rights.

They don't constitutes a hate group until they become organized.

The Republicans are a hate group then.

What else would you call them?

A party hell-bent on denying rights to others certainly qualify. Just because they're mainstream in your country doesn't make them less of an instrument of hate.

How silly. Laws deny rights to people all the time, particularly sexual deviants.

By the way, I don't hate gays, I hate their sense of entitlement.

I mean, even when they kill themselves, it's someone else's fault, and someone owes their family money and jail time. Women are like this too, with equal pay crap and their custom bath rooms.

Women's bathrooms are inferior, as they lack urinals. I hear they do have "automatic tampon removers," but only according to this one joke I heard once.

I don't remember you ever creating a thread protesting the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis, or white supremacist militia groups. I guess that makes you racist.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.
