Sure it does. I don't equate the NOI with the Dems any more than I equate the Dems with the Coms or the Coms with the Nazis. I'm saying the Dems are making a mistake in assuming that people will turn to them after seeking NOI protection. I'm saying that mistake will cost a great deal to Chigaco, long term maybe even the US. Because it empowers the NOI. The history books aren't written yet and the NOI may rise or (hopefully) fall for other reasons. But if they do Americans and the Dems in particular will have only themselves to blame for the cost to society.

As a corollary to the above I attempt an explanation for why the Dems act as they do. My explanation is that the Dems have accepted the logic of racial and collective victimology. You accept that it is alright to work with and endorse Al Sharpton despite his racism because-to use your words-"he gets a pass" because he was a victim of racism. You are a Brit but your views are not atypical of left wing Americans in this respect. Well, what is the difference, then, between that and accepting that Farrakhan "gets a pass"?

Yeah, there will surely come a time when the good people of America fall under the sway of the evil NOI, particularly given how open and welcoming the US is already towards muslims. I'm frankly amazed that there isn't already Sharia law being written in blood over the ripped pages of the constitution. Only a matter of time I guess.

Pointing out that you are being fundamentally dishonest (and pointing out why) does actually get me somewhere, it helps to undermine your ridiculous drip feeding of hate and bigotry towards people you barely understand but insist on demonizing.

We have people like you in the UK as well you see, they form little groups called things like the British National Party and the English Defense League, and they spread fear and exploit peoples vulnerabilities to try and make their particular racist cancer grow. Like you, everything they talk about has a nasty little racist or xenophobic twist in the tail, everything leads to a dark path where the good white citizens are subverted and overthrown by the evil coloured folk with their savage heathen religions. People laughed at the Nazis. Absurdity has a way of becoming reality. There is no "end of history" in real life-no point at which we all get to sit back and relax because we've won "the war for democracy." The NOI will do its best to gain power. It opposes democracy. And the Dems are working with it. This is how societies die: not because they don't permit gay marriage but because they're willing to make these surrenders which they think are minor. This generation welcomes the NOI to Chicago. The next generation of Chicagoans may be comprised of many more NOI members than before. The Dems have legitimated the NOI as protectors of the community.

Really, is this so surprising to you? The same culture of racial entitlement is what repelled you from the Dems. I remember you writing about the Dem worker who came to your door talking about "Chinks" taking away jobs. The same thinking has produced race riots and the burning of Asian grocery stores, all propelled by men pushing the racial entitlement line like Sharpton and Farrakhan.

None of my posts have been or are about the dangers of a "minority group." It is you who identify the views of Farrakhan et al with blacks at large in this post, and Islamists with Muslims at large, not I. In any case how is it logical to speak of blacks and Muslims as such globally? They are not a collective Borg mind. It is you who suggest as much.
