As I alluded to earlier, this is an irrelevant point. No sane person at the point of the Antitrust law creation or even it current interpretation advocates the abolishment of corporations. Further, the point of the Anti-trust law is not to prevent the creation of a monopoly (innocent creation of a monopoly in the market etc. can and will happen) but to prevent artificial measures taken by the monoply to preserve its status (and hence an adverse impact to consumers).

Thus the corporations are limited but not abolished. Similar stances can and should apply to labor monoplies (particuarly IMO public sector) but not to the extent of abolishment.

Unlike the foreigners who come in and espouse themselves experts of US policy and legal intent, I find the practice gauche. Thus I refuse to address the legal intent of their legislations as a matter of personal preference.

Yes, I remember that quite well. My Dad moved us from Knoxville, TN to Syracuse, NY in 1954 because he couldn't find a job in Industrial Design Engineering in the South. By 1959 the company he worked for, GE, decided to move its Industrial Controls department to the South in order to evade the labor unions, so we moved to Roanoke, VA. They moved other manufacturing divisions, Home Appliances, etc. to other southern locations. That didn't work so well, most of the new plants unionized within 3 years. Over the next 15 years GE took increasingly extreme measures to evade the unions, such as constructing manufacturing facilities in Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. The infrastructure for industrial activities in those areas was so poor at the time that all of the plants failed. It was a massive waste. Meanwhile GE neglected R&D in its appliances divisions. By the 1970s most GE TVs still used vacuum tubes. The Japanese weren't so neglectful. During the 1970's Japanese home electronics wwiped GE home electronics off the face of the Earth.

It wasn't labor unions that killed American manufacturing, it was management that spent more time and money on "style" than technical development.
