  • So do knives don't they?

    • He asked about tasers. Pay attention.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

      • The attacker had the knife..

        • What point are you trying to make? Several possibilities come to mind but I want the one you intend.

          • Was just wondering why they needed to shoot him through the door, rather than taze him as he came out. Then again if the officer inside had fallen or something, it could have further endangered him I suppose not taking out the attacker. You'd think shooting towards him was pretty dangerous anyway though.

            • No argument there, hence my comment at the bottom. As for the guy only having a knife, he was already in contact with one officer and in that circumstance the gun is more reliable than the taser.

                "Virtually the entire population"?

In Wales does "virtually the entire____" mean the same thing as "1/3"[Gunowners, many of whom do not routinely go to the range]?

                Hyperbole much?
Seriously, these days it's just easier to point and laugh at the situation they've created for themselves every time one of them goes nuts and wipes out a whole bunch of people!
Big words from a guy whose country saw violent crime go UP with more stringent gun control and the removal of the right to self-defense.

...and several seasons of Dr. Who. I guess Wales is kind of Science Fiction-ey?
There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

Yeah, its quite amazing how full of **** that article was.

No, of you watch the video you'll see that after the robber rushes past the first officer he is between the other 2 officers and the first officer. The first officer stops firing, if only because he's no longer facing the robbre. The other two officers continue firing even though the first officer is at that time behind the robber in the field of fire of at least one of the other officers.
