What's in a name, but I'd not entitle them as conservatives because their viewpoints are fairly new and mostly raised in response to changes in our society since the enlightenment. It's reactionary and not conservative. Yet again, what's in a name. And you're right.

It looks more like an extremely early daguerreotype of a pizza.
Interesting that you say that. If you pluck the stem cells out of it and put them next to a Shakey's Pizza restaurant, you'll get another Shakey's Pizza restaurant.

              • That can't be a real photograph of a dinosaur, because there's no jockey Apostle riding him . St. Patrick expelled all the dinosaurs from Ireland, too.
The snakes gave him a hard time about this, so they had to go next.

Also, camels, tigers and elephants. But the salmon were cool with the situation, and also assorted bushes and trees.

                • "Everybody is gang tackling Todd Akin. ... You talk about a forcible situation, you talk about somebody being a victim of forcible assault, that would be Todd Akin," - Brian Fischer, spokesman for the American Family Association.

                      • I can't help but believe that if Mr. Akin (and over here George Galloway) had had the experience of being raped then they wouldn't spout nonsense about 'legitimate' rapes- or rape in general. Of course that still leaves the bewildering notion of female biology that Mr. Akin espouses- the equivalent of pop-up uterine machine gun emplacements if an act of genuine rape is committed, thus enabling the annihilation of rogue sperm troopers.

A rape charity criticises Respect MP George Galloway after he says Julian Assange has been accused of nothing more than "bad sexual etiquette".

                          • For those who would like to employ extreme benefit of the doubt to avoid confronting this level of silliness, bear in mind that there is a nonzero chance that this is all a bizarre misunderstanding involving canola oil or archaic British zoning rules. It could, in theory, be the case that Mr. Akin's doctor has elaborate theories about canola oil containing sperm and the body evolving a defense against it. Think about it.

                            • So tell me, pro-choice people, is it really a difficult choice you had to make?
                              no
                              Do you understand pro-life people,
                              kind of
                              value their arguments
                              no
you consider your arguments to be more valuable?
                              yes
Or is it an easy decision.
                              yes
Just kill it b/c it's not a child yet anyway.
                              yes

Life begins when a human being can say "I am alive" and remember it for the rest of said life. Otherwise, a human is just another walking sack of meat.

The idea of imbuing embryos, fetuses, and even young children with what we as grown ass people consider to be life is insulting. Babies and little kids don't have souls. The soul is you. It takes a few years to develop.

Humans should be treated as people outside of the womb. It's arbitrary. But that's when life is generally considered to begin. The gestation period is a gauntlet of sorts. No sane person would bury a fetus. Date of birth... ???? date of death ???? They lived a long and uhmmm urrrr important life.

                              What a joke.

And this sick idea of personhood at conception isn't even a Christian idea. The Bible treats child murderers like someone who got a speeding ticket. Three sheckles of silver if you kill an infant.

This idea is the product of child molesting priests (in the sperm worshiping cult of catholicism) and American protestant fake-Christian cults.
To us, it is the BEAST.
