As someone who nearly had his life ruined by New Jersey public schools, shut the **** up.

Actually, I think he was pretty accurate about that part...

Because we trust parents more than the state to raise their own goddamn children. The idea that we would trust the state more is pure insanity.

I must remember to take my sons out of their super exclusive school and send them to Louisiana for a term or two, it will be broadening for them
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

Oh dear, did you dare to deny your children the benefits of the state's wise curricula? How dare you.

The fact that Louisiana public schools suck does not imply that its Christian madrassas should be funded as an alternative.

No but the fact that we have freedom of religion does.

I don't challenge the existence of the schools or parents' right to send their kids to them (shudder).

But why, especially in this economy, would a state government volunteer millions in vouchers?

Have you ever met most parents? I don't trust them to raise their own kids.

I've met a few. They seem nice .

I'll trust them to teach kids basic education than parents (homeschooled kids are freaking scary... for the most part).
