    ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

Oh okay, I get it now. Molly's a pretentious drama queen with an internet connection.

I think the issue is that molly isn't smart enough to actually make intelligent contributions, so he argues minutiae he can contradict with quick google searches. This is enhanced by his belief in worthless trivial knowledge being equivalent to intelligence.

He seems to be doing alright.

He didn't trash alby or HC. He made his usual set of irrelevent factoid drops and culture references while coming off like an autistic auditioning for the high school play. Moreover, I guess his google skills couldn't turn up the fact that my username comes from "regular expressions" as opposed to my excellence or something.

But what can we expect from a man with a 150 page thread of himself jerking off to his taste in music?

As a participant you were too close.

As an uninvolved reader I have to say he won the arguments easily.

                  Relentlessly you might say.

Did you read the article? These are textbooks in Christian schools who are going to be acceptable places to use school vouchers.

Which means parents choose where to send their kids. Public funding for schools is 100% welfare in purpose. Giving parents a choice over schools does not defeat any purpose of the government paying for schools. On the other hand, it may fail the purpose of the government mandating education, but that is an issue of accreditation period, not whether vouchers can be used there.

Why does being a parent give you the right to ruin a childs life by teaching them complete bull****?

And then ask for your complete bull**** to be funded by taxes?

You act like this is a bad thing when it comes to primary and secondary education.

On the contrary, I'm completely in favor of it. But let's call a nail a nail. Or whatever expression you choose.

                                They already had that choice.

By scrimping and saving, my lower-middle class parents sent me to parochial schools -- where I learned about things like math and evolution. Because in the 60s, evolution and Catholic creation doctrine were not considered to be mutually exclusive, or even especially at odds with each other.
