Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I see the government just made up a category of weapons. So if the rifle can accept two of a bayonet mount, folding stock, pistol grip, flash suppressor, and/or a grenade launcher, it is considered an 'assault weapon' regardless of firing mechanism or whether or not the rifle in question has any of those attachments.
Anyone well-versed in weapons can explain the basis of what seems like a strange and arbitrary distinction?
You clearly can't understand the stupidity of ordinary people to have acces to simple guns, so how can anyone expect that you can understand that they are denied acces to more advanced guns ?
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
So then ban all semi-automatic weapons? Only allow bolt-action rifles and single-action revolvers?
With enough training, though, it won't make a difference:
Just ban all weapons

It has been reported that the degree to which individuals represent a danger to society and the threshold for psychiatric insitutionalization has dramatically risen. If so why and what is a reasonable non knee jerk response?
Homosexuality no longer is an acceptable reason for institutionalization. Please apologize MrFun
(Sadly it's not all that knee-jerk a response. There were horrible injustices that have been eliminated in the past few decades in that field. Surely a few truly dangerous criminals have slipped through too, but it's a better situation than imprisoning tons of people who did nothing to deserve it. Now if only drug use offenders were given the same freedom ... )
With a hat tip to Felch, I again suggest ending the war on drugs for its drain on the penal system.
A good suggestion. Though taken with your prior statement sounds like you are driving at the free space to be used for the wrong reasons ... to reinstate draconian institutionalization policies for the mentally ill. Which is of course the same "wrong" as the current jailing of non-violent drug offenders.

"I have nothing against Wilson, but he's nowhere near the same calibre of QB as Flutie. Flutie threw for 5k+ yards in the CFL." -Ben Kenobi
That is quite true - the difference is that we can control the use of guns while you yanks appently can't, so a cold turkey is pretty sane for you

Oh, and if you are in doubt of americans are capable of handling guns, then please check that FBI site - you won't like it

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a sheep or a cow in person before unless they have them at zoos (which I doubt).

There's plenty of farms less than 30 minutes away from here, and you'd have to be an idiot to call where I live rural. It's not an unusual situation.
Who said anything about you?
I said I haven't seen a cow or sheep before.
Amish land is not far from Philly. Doesn't mean I've gone there before.

No, what you said was that you hadn't seen a sheep or a cow in person. Few have.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead
