Not necessarily.
I hate crap products, and by and large American cars just are. They're unrefined, largely. I'm not even talking about reliability.
They're rough engines, the suspensions are either too soft or too hard, the interiors are either ridiculously cheap or pretentiously tech-heavy with have baked **** (like Ford). I can't think of a single American car right now in any reasonable budget that is a good "driver's car".
Look at the Ford Mustang - still rockin' a live rear axle for a street car in 2012? Really?
And the Dodge Charger - a 5.7 ****ing litre engine and it drives like a retarded dog. All reviews I've read mention the lag they feel -- it's unresponsive. And a fuel hog."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Seriously, I've driven sedans like Audi A4s on travel in Europe and they feel like they ride very rough compared to Fusion and Fusion-platform sedans.Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

The Fusion is definitely one of the better American cars, but it's still ass.
It's interesting that in all of the reviews, it mentions "European like ride and handling" which is not a complement to "North American engineering"."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Basically, Ford aped non-North American engineering and design and Lonestar holds it up as a testament to North American engineering."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
