High of 69 with a night time low of 64 yesterday which is projected to be the same today with a pleasant off shore breeze. Oh, and the skies are blue without a cloud in the sky.

We're far from the main faults and are unlikely to ever be hit by the "big one". We tend to get a fair number of small quakes rather than big ones but that's good as it allows the energy to be dissipated instead of stored up into a big one. Also, the building code was written with earthquakes in mind so we'd be more like Japan and less like Haiti. Oh, and we have mostly transverse faults instead of dip-slip/subduction faults so not much risk of tsunamis either.

My place rarely gets above 75oF without A/C. I think it's because of all the ghosts keeping it cool.

Rented a house in La Jolla about 2 years ago in early Sept. about 1/4 mile from the beach, house was worth about $2M, but no AC and it was too friggin hot (95-100). It did at least cool off at night to a reasonable sleeping temp ~70-75.
