Bull****. Despite what liberals proclaim our healthcare is in fact excellent, as evidenced by the fact that more people survive diseases such as cancer here than anywhere else, and far and away more people come here for medical treatment than any other country. You don't see Saudi princes traveling to Argentina for brain surgery.Originally posted by N35t0r View PostIts much much better than what millions of people in the US, a country with almost five times the GDP per capita, get.

You say that like America is a monolithic entity where everyone has equal service.
You're also factually wrong on cancer survival. I remember that narrative quite well.
The only possible thing you could be referring to is a single 2008 study that compared the 5 year survival rate with Europe's. So yeah, for one specific statistic, the US is number one.
Right wing editorials around the time were spouting the same bull****.
You are bad at this.To us, it is the BEAST.

You've touted this "fact" on multiple occasions here on Poly, and on each occasion it's been pointed out to you that this fact only appears in flawed statistical analyses of cancer survival and that the non-flawed analyses paint a significantly more ambiguous picture. You've yet to change your stance, though, so my pointing this out probably won't do much good.Originally posted by regexcellent View Post...fact that more people survive diseases such as cancer here than anywhere else...Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

The British used to have very good relations with South America- they invested and contributed quite a lot to Argentina itself. The current state of affairs will pass as all such things do...Originally posted by Lancer View PostI'm not homophobic! Butt, go ahead and have your way.
What bugs me is this group has a tougher time taking a joke than most. Really I'm getting the Brits and their one sided anti brown South Americanism. You look real good at Ireland. The Brits don't even like the Irish controlling Ireland, imagine if the Argentinians controlled it?Vive la liberte. Noor Inayat Khan, Dachau.

So you are saying that of the tens of millions of uninsured people in the US, all of them have access to better healthcare?Originally posted by regexcellent View PostBull****.
