Up here we had frost on our windshields this morning and I am going skiing (yes on SNOW) tomorrow--

Alby-- this focus on fashion does play into all the gay sterotypes. Your attire doesn't help-- Try looking a bit more masculine, dude instead of like a girly boy


Oh and today I am in "uniform"-- grey pinstripe suit


Oh and Alby as I have advised a dozen times-- you look good enough that for most women all you need to do is avoid things that could disqualify you. Wear what you want but conservative clothes work for that goal. If you weren't fit ect etc you might need a more flamboyant style to attract women-- but I am guessing Alby-persona will continue on his own course.

Although-- have you considered that having a girlfriend might actually increase the problems and hilarity for Alby-persona? You should get one just for our entertainment.

When I started this job on the line, they gave 12 pairs of Cintas work slacks, navy blue. I personally paid nothing for them, the company does, and there's free laundry service, so I wore them everywhere. The work shirts, not so much, pocket tees are more comfortable.

Now I'm in management, the boss, the man in the office, salaried.

I still wear them everywhere.

Traded up to polo shirts, though.

As an aside, dressing a little "wrong" but in an obviously "clueless guy " way can even be endearing to women. It confirms you are straight (stereotype I know but so MANY people think that way) and it gives them something to fix.

Today I'm wearing a rather colourful (for me) short-sleeved African shirt. Possibly because the sun has at last come out after what feels like a decade of unrelenting grey skies and teeming rain, and possibly because I want to show my friends and fellow volunteers at the charity what it looks like on me (they were the ones who insisted it was in my colours and that I should buy it).

I eschew the wearing of shorts because I've never liked 'em and I'm short. Instead I'm wearing a delightful old pair of Stussy jeans (kind of a taupe/cream colour) with some chunky brown boots (Rhinotrack) and a cream coloured linen/cotton jacket.

Take a picture, molly bloom. I don't want to be the only one.

Well if you want to improve your look, resources exist.

This is my expectation that everyone here doesn't care what they wear. But there's got to be a few who are concerned with their image. I'm curious to see people's attire.

Dude, Cintas facility services suck! I don't recall too much an issue with their uniforms, though.
