The premise is flawed. You and the writer assume that "translators" are the reason for the dominance of conservative talk radio, when the simple fact is that even on a local level, coservative hosts far outnumber liberal ones. The reason for this is also simple.

    CONSERVATIVE LISTENERS BUY MORE.

That's true. South Park just had an episode on that.

I'd watch it. Which episode was it? The South Park guys do a good job of being equal opportunity parodists.

Your retarded political views are a consequence of biased journalism. Rawstory is just the left wing equivalent of Newsmax, but you're gullible enough to take it seriously.

I consider myself a libertarian but I've never read a page of Rand.

Be carefull of what you wish for. I detest the ultra-rightwind idiots but government censorship by popular decree is 'way worse,IMO.

How is making sure more people get the chance to speak their mind the same as censorship? Given that there are a limited number of stations in the spectrum and that the entire spectrum is owned by the public... Why shouldn't there be some reasonable regulations to insure as many people get the opportunity to speak their mind as possible? That seems like it would increase the opportunities for free speech not decrease it.

It's a good sight better than the "equal time" doctrine, which kept stations form airing anything controversial for fear that they would have to give time to every boring crackpot with a placard.

                            Boring is subjective.
