  • Not again. US soldier goes on rampage in Afghanistan.

It seems another US soldier went ape **** and killed 16 Afghan civilians. Supposedly the guy left his base in the middle of the night, went to a nearby town where he started shooting people and even going from house to house to find new victims, the guy then returned to base and turned himself in. Things were finally settling down after the Koran burning incident and now this happens.

I honestly don't understand why we are there.

This is what the hawks here told us for a decade while the US was diverted to Iraq (Afghanistan was "the good war" remember?). Now that US attention is focused on Afghanistan you guys are coming to the same conclusion as the rest of us - It was a war sold on bull****.

The war started with good intentions. It's just we learn the hard way that some wars are unwinnable. You'd think we'd have learned from the Soviets lack of success there in the 80's. It was a mistake sending ground troops in there.

Yes. To kick the **** out of the Taliban and AQ. A shame it moved beyond that.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

We're there, so that we have a place to send mentally unstable Americans who may have inclinations to criminal behavior. This way, the victims of their vicious crimes are foreigners, not Americans.

It is time to gather our toys and go home.

Besides, we need to get all those toys ready for the Great Persian Liberation that is looming.
