  • I know, it's been too quick to judge him innocent.

The media was ridiculous enough to post articles on what his parents think about him. As if that had any bearing on the issue and wasn't extremely unbaised. Anyone who would do something like that immediately loses credibility and integrity.

    • You idiot, poisoning the entire goddamn national jury pool will make it near impossible to convict him.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I don't think you quite get what I'm driving at. I don't believe it is possible that the witnesses reported earlier could have failed to see Trayvon whomping Zimmerman, if that's what happened, nor that they would have failed to mention it, which leaves us with the strong possibility that the media publishing the reports purposely suppressed that part of the story. Why would they do that if only to leave the true sequence of events to the imnagination of the reader, i.e., that Zimmerman shot Trayvon without cause? Surely they'd realise that the actual stories would eventually get out, so my question is did someone "in the media" want to start some race riots?

The other possibility is that Trayvon might not have beaten on Zimmerman, and these more recent reports, the latest witness report, the "enhanced video" and the leaked police reports are bogus, in which case it's likely that the police are actively involved in covering up a crime. Why did the police chief temporarily suspend himself?

Like this is the first time a murder incident has ever been highly publicized.

          • Has there been a charge filed yet? If not, my priors are adjusting toward the vigilante being innocent.

Immaterial to your insinuation of why I posted that, dumb****.

                      • It's interesting that despite several posters' attempts to help HC think about what he posts here, he has actually gotten worse about doing it.

                            • Let's get real. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would describe this as a travesty of justice even if Zimmerman is found innocent.

Anyone else been watching Al Sharpton's show on MSNBC? There's no way you can watch that and not come away with that conclusion. He may say he just wants justice to be served wherever the chips may fall but let's get real.
