Thicksliced sourdough bread has a better flavor to go with grilled cheese than does multigrain.
I like gruyere, munster, and chedder for chesses
A little bit of truffle oil and a slight grilling on the insides fo the bread before assembling, and a mixture of olive oil and butter for grilling the outsides.
