Really? I don't know much about Section 28 but as far as I know it only restrained the actions of the government. At least, that's how I would interpret this:

A local authority is not an individual. The act discriminated against gay men and lesbians not because of any actions or choices on their part but simply on the grounds that they were gay or lesbians.

Being a government official is a choice. Oh, and joining the military is a choice too. Just as smoking pot is a choice, huh.

Felch makes an excellent point. Gay people make a choice. I don't see why people can't understand that no one has to do what their flesh tells them to do and that people don't have a right to do whatever they desire. They can have a happy life without being hedonistic.

There's nothing retarded about what he says. Smoking pot and homosexual relationships are both choices, that some people are inclined to choose and others aren't, and a large number of people think they know what's best for everyone.
