No, most of them just really like beer and want to try one they've read about but can't get locally.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Never paid more than $12 for a 6 pack (or 4 pack) of beer. Plenty to choose from for that price range. Though I love me a good bourbon as well.
Anyways, I just had a Rogue Hazelnut Brown Ale ( http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/132/1339 ) in a 32oz Growler for $6.99.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I have a six pack of Leffe for this afternoon. It's pretty good as mass market beers go.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Also, I recently had Fuller's London Pride for the first time in a couple of years. Pretty good, but a bit cloying after the first 3 pints.
But that's me. I like hops, but only to a point. Bitterness, beyond a certain point, kills the flavor. A lot of IPAs went off the freaking deep end on the hoppiness. That fad seems to be passing, from what I can tell, which is nice.

p.s. Ooooh, Imran, that does sound tasty. I used to be all about Browns... Newcastle used to be my fav, but then my taste changed and I found lots of browns to be too sweet. But nutbrowns seem to be drier, which works. I'll keep an eye out at the store tomorrow... gracias!grog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!

Had a Rogue Dead Guy Ale last night. They make good stuff. Also a local brewer - Wild Heaven's Ode to Mercy which is just great stuff.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Ok, tried the Rogue Hazelnut Brown (drinking it as I type, in fact). Too sweet. It has promise, but it's unbalanced. YMMV.

You REALLY like dry beers then . I thought it was just right and have drunk far sweeter that I liked.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

My taste has *really* changed. I used to like beers that I now find sickeningly sweet. So yeah. And yet, I'm not into the hyper IPAs. I find myself trying to hit a sweet spot that's pretty small.

Some of those small seasonal brews vary batch to batch. Also if the beer is bottle conditioned the flavor can change over time.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.
