Who would Al invite? A bunch of relatively obscure east coast rappers, and maybe Muhammad?

Very much so. If you could disengage yourself from your own narrow worldview, you could learn a lot about the broadness of human experiences and just how limited yours are in comparison.

I already posted in this thread.

I'll bring together all those who have had armies kill hundreds of thousands, if not millions, in their name:

        1. Tamerlane
        2. Genghis Khan
        3. Attila
        4. Hitler
        5. Stalin
        6. Mao
        7. Jesus

American culture actually has widespread influence, in case you didn't know. Third worlders wearing Mickey Mouse shirts and such and such.

Okay, I can infer from the inclusion of "Jesus" that the intention of your post was to insult other people's cultures. Also, I can infer from omitting Muhammad that there is something wrong with you.

So, your narrow world view teaches you a lot about the human experience, but everyone that tells you about you narrow world view, has a narrow world view?

              Okay.

Forget what I said about Led Zepplin earlier.

Jesus actually didn't have any armies at his command, and he didn't kill anyone. Which makes him very different from Hitler or Attila.

No one has killed for Muhammad. They killed for Allah.

Lots of killing for Jesus, though.

So American culture is one big easily-characterized monolith of Mickey Mouse, baseball, and apple pie? What else is quintessentially American? If you hate baseball, are you un-American?

Because if you disagree with one facet of american culture, you reject it all!

Not to mention the mickey mouse thing was just an example.

No, but if an American had no clue what baseball is that would raise some eyebrows.

                                Yes.

It is okay to not like baseball, however.
