You're told "44000 people die from a preventable condition" and your immediate response is "but I don't know how big 44000 is!" Would your response change if that were 440,000? Or 4,400,000? How much does health insurance cost you per month?
It costs me $300 per month, and my employer adds another $600. When I was a contractor it cost me $1100 per month. (My medication would have cost $1200 per month without insurance, so it was well worth it to have insurance for medication and for injury.)
HTML is disabled in signatures

Loin, you're being retarded. The numbers are meaningless without context, that's a mathematical fact that has nothing to do with how rich my parents are. It's unfortunate that you're so emotional about this that you get all weepy-eyed at numbers when you don't know what they really mean.If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

It's not a lack of empathy, you idiotic person. This has nothing to do with whether I feel sorry for them or not. It has to do with whether the "statistic" Oerdin posted made any compelling case for single payer healthcare. Jesus ****ing christ on a bicycle, I really hope this is nothing but you trolling because you're being just willfully stupid here.If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?
