Norquist isn't suggesting we reduce the size of the central government to the point that armed gangs take over the streets, you ******

It's like you think we can either expand the government, or we become somalia, and you don't even recognize this blatantly obvious false dichotomy.

Anyone who thinks that devolving many of the US federal powers to the states will lead to anything resembling Somalia is figuratively retarded.

Where the central authority is so weak that independent organizations step in to provide the essential services of the government (taxation, law, defense) and become the de facto government of the region, then yes, you end up with too much government!

I don't think your brain works properly. In response to Norquist saying he doesn't want numerous government protections, it was said "move to Somalia" to which Norquist responded "it has too much government". It's in the context of the discussion they were having, you ridiculous excuse for a thinking human being.

If the solution is more government (one faction taking control of the country and initiating social programs to help lift the people from poverty), then you can't say "too much government". You basically end up looking like you just bend and twist language to whatever sounds good at the time!

                    Ditto.

Though you always were a pedantic pissant who didn't know how to use the English language properly.

Actually, I think he knows how to use it more properly than most people, and that's why he is capable of being so pedantic.

The solution is for ONE government to exert more authority and the OTHER to exert less, resulting a NET REDUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF GOVERNMENT.

Duh. I've already explained this. You're an idiot.

Pedantism doesn't account for the organic nature of language and distills it down to a dictionary definition, written who knows when, which may not be relevant for the way people actually use the term.

Do you not think that the additional bureacracy and social programs would increase the amount of government to greater than the sum of competing factions who have limited control over the areas and people they are in charge of?! Or are you ridiculously looking at "amount" as the number of governmental type factions rather than the complete size and control of government (ie, what the original discussion between Norquist and Patriot Millionares was about)?

Using literally when you mean figuratively isn't "the organic nature of language", it's COMPLETELY DESTROYING A WORD.
