Motor vehicle accident. Plaintiff charged defendant's negligence led to sustained injuries to head, neck, and upper back. We determined the defendant's negligence was a factual cause in the harm to the plaintiff, there was no contributory negligence on the part of the plaintiff, but we determined a relative pittance in damages.

The judge was nice enough, after the judgment, to retain the attorneys for a discussion with the jury in which we could ask questions (she ended requesting votes for retention, though
). Just as when I was a witness in that preliminary hearing two weeks ago for that criminal incident, I was again asked, this time by the judge, if I was an attorney myself.
Go figure.
Judging from my observations of the public defendant in the other case and these attorneys in this case, I would think I would make an above average lawyer. In my opinion, she was not injured. I was one of the hold-outs during deliberation with regards to whether or not the defendant's negligence was a cause of the harm, namely because we doubted any harm took place.
