The only countries who really signed a treaty with Hitler to partition another country were Great Britain, France and Italy (then later Hungary and Poland joined the fun and partitioned Czechoslovakia completely among three of them). Thus GB and France betrayed their own ally which they obliged to protect and they did it despite Soviet's protests and Soviets claims that in case of agression of Germany against Czechoslovakia USSR will fullfil its obligations and dow Germany the same very second. But no, GB needed Germany to attack the USSR and didn't give a sh!t about its ally Czechslovakia so they just pushed on Poland to prevent them to provide a right of passage for the Red Army through the Polish territory and just feed Czechoslovakia to Hitler. JFG.
That's how the WW2 really started. In Munich. Not in 1939 at Poland. Not to mention that both UK and Poland had absolutely alike non-agression pacts with Hitler signed long before us. YES. Russians alone kicked out Austro-Hungary from war in 1916. If not Russian soldiers Germans would have been in Paris for sure. The fact that Russian Empire collapsed and couldn't wage war any longer after the revolution, cause we had a much more important for us Civil war, doesn't mean we have been defeated by Germans military.
