Yes, but it should have been labelled so that Americans can understand what the picture is.

Because, as planned, the US has proven useful as a loyal guard dog. You spend your money on obscene military to protect us while we spend our money making our quality of life insanely good, people healthy, quality education, and state-of-the-art hockey arenas.

Canucks didn't use the vile metric system in those days.

You were certainly doing well in WWI and WWII before we showed up...

Let's face facts: the Canadian military is about as competent at fighting as you are at numbering lists.

              Thanks for noticing!

Yes, you did so well that you inspired a classic poem about war dead.

                  Not inspired -- wrote.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
                  In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
                  In Flanders fields.
We were so ****ing good we found time to write epic poems in the midst of battle. Don't pretend you aren't jealous.

The only time Americans suffered enough casualties to inspire a rhetorical masterpiece was when we were fighting other Americans.

But you'll always have Pearl Harbor

I'd post something about American involvement in WWI, but AFAIK they were an afterthought...

I think that proves that we're the smart ones. We didn't bleed ourselves in moronic bayonet charges against German machine guns, but still played a major role in the post-war peace, unlike Canada.

We definitely had good timing back then.
                              John Brown did nothing wrong.

I should also point out that Canadians were an afterthought in WWII, ie. the war that was actually worth fighting.
