But did you get the Pastrami? It's a uniquely American lunch meat using German and eastern European methods and spices. It really didn't come together until a bunch of easties ended up in NYC and started melding together.

The closest we have in Southern California is Langers but they put cheese on their pastrami. I mean what's the point of getting spiced kosher beef if you're going to put unkosher cheese on it? I love cheese but come on.

Kosher means nothing if you're not Kosher. After that, it's nothing but taste, and I don't see the problem there.
