Which ever one I choose, I need to be able to incorporate it into my job so it's a matter of reflex and the responses have to be quick and practical. I signed my 9 year old up for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. So far he likes it a lot. He's never been in a real fight and I'm thinking that this is the year so I want him to be prepared.

In order to train any martial art to the point where it becomes a matter of reflex, you need to put a lot of time and effort into it. You won't find any quick fixes.
