    Krav Maga vs Jiu Jitsu

    Anybody here have any experience? Insight? or of course opinion?
    I'm thinking about taking one or the other for practical application at my job. Which one do you guys would be most effective in helping me apply Georgia law to the streets?
    What can make a nigga wanna fight a whole night club/Figure that he ought to maybe be a pimp simply 'cause he don't like love/What can make a nigga wanna achy, break all rules/In a book when it took a lot to get you hooked up to this volume/
    What can make a nigga wanna loose all faith in/Anything that he can't feel through his chest wit sensation

    Krav Maga is too violent. You want to restrain the perp, not provoke a race riot.

                Did you not read the part where his "job" is to "apply Georgia law to the streets"? Unless that's referring to a process server, I'd imagine he has a service weapon and simply would rather not have to explain several officer-involved shootings a day to internal affairs if he can avoid it with martial arts.

                        I have experience with both.

                        Granted, I have no real experience with military version of Krav Maga. If you're talking streets, then military version of Krav Maga.

                        If you're serious, learn both. Fighting needs BJJ. But it has lots of weaknesses in the streets as well, regardless you still need to know it.

                        If the situation is serious, learn Krav Maga (military if possible) and get a gun and focus on learning to use it.

                          Ah, law. Jiu Jitsu. Learn to restrain and control bodies, stay out of harms way. Krav Maga is for doing damage.
