      • a pint of blueberries and a coffee.

Followed by a smoke, more coffee and bacon, eggs and fried bread.

            • A banana. The famous MOBIUS sixpack is making a long awaited comeback and I don't want to do anything to derail that!
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

                        • A few years back they opened a new Chabad Hebrew Academy (a Jewish religious school) about a mile from my home and this has resulted in a lot of Jews moving to the area, especially orthodoxed Jews, and one of the upsides is that a couple of Jewish delis and bakeries have opened in the area to cater to the Jewish clientele. Today my breakfast was a nicely boiled then baked bagel, toasted, then topped with cream cheese, sliced red onion, fresh lox, and capers. Being a fat American at heart I also got a very nice freshly baked bialy (diced onion and garlic in the middle) on the side and washed it down with a wonderfully pulled Ethiopian yirgacheffe coffee done on a French press. Not bad all in all.

I'm sure the cream cheese wasn't kosher but I suppose the owners have to deal with the fact that most of the population here are still middle aged Protestant families so I can't blame them for selling what the market demands especially since I like it.

                          • I feel sorry for anyone who gets a wiff of my breath after eating that onion and garlic bialy.

                            • I think, but am no means certain, that fish does not count as meat under kosher law. The cream cheese should be fine if that is the case.

As for me, organic sweet potato tortilla chips with hummus, peach yogurt, a banana and cold coffee.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
