        If you plan on using a wheeled office chair on it, forget wood or laminate. They destroy them.

          They have floor shields for those. Which you'd probably have to get for most carpets anyway.

                            Get another mid grade carpet. It limits the expense of the doggy damage and keeps the girlfriends feet warm.
