Aside from gun laws, there was a ban on mail-order wine in Maryland until earlier this year. How would state laws like this and the gun issue mesh with the Interstate Commerce Clause? Shouldn't it be unlawful for a state to interfere or regulate commerce with other states?
EDIT: I understand that their authority is rooted in licensing powers, but the Constitution ought to take precedence.
