I think I see what some of you were talking about with Molly Bloom. I've noticed he just brings up relatively obscure factoids with marginal relevance. Reminds me of being a little kid and knowing about something obscure and trying to bring it up in class though it has only the slightest connection to the topic at hand, just to make myself look smart.


And before gribbler or someone says 'Everyone knows about the Zanj revolt'... yes, a 9th century revolt in the Abbasid caliphate is not obscure.

It's demonstrating knowledge for no other reason than to show off as far as I can tell. Molly Bloom seems to do this. It's a personality flaw.
