    Thanks for the PHd.

Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy.

No, that's how the o in Robert is pronounced.

Oh and in American English, Robert and Robot are not pronounced alike.

In American English, Rob- sounds just like the word rob (to steal from someone) and rhymes with Bob, lob, etc. We say the 'b' in the first syllable of the name.

We then repeat the b for the bert (so Robert is pronounced like a combination of two nicknames, Bob and Bert). Bert rhymes pretty closely with hurt.

To be clear to Plomp, MikeH is referring to the FIRST 'o' in robot is the same as the 'o'.
              ORLY?
Didn't got that. Seriously, without your explanation I would not have gotten that. Seriously thanks.

And I speak flawless english. Especially if it concerns the very difficult word 'go'

Robert sounds like robber but with a t at the end.

I know, that's why I told you that it's pronounced like in "Go"
It's the french way you pronounce it. I know that the French and the Yanks are very close :P

No it doesn't. I'm not French.
For it to be pronounced like that it should have been "Robbert"

                        There's no 2nd "o" in Robert.

Too fat to leave the robot house.
