What does it matter? The long royal tradition is that they'll be divorced shortly after she pops out a few rug rats anyway.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

well yes, it is. however, if you look at the history it's understandable."The Christian way has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found to be hard and left untried" - GK Chesterton.

A few centuries ago they never considered the possibility... Chatolics however where a oppressed militant minority with support from abroad and some sympathizers among the countries elite. I mean didn't the Pope rule that a Catholic killing Elizabeth wouldn't really be committing a sin (Popes used to have balls like Muslims in those days)?
A Muslim or Hindu king was unimaginable because there where none of them in England and they assumed they would never be. Groups like the Lutherans where too small ... and a Jewish King? Well who would tolerate a Jewish king?Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.
The simple suggestion of a true change scandalizes and terrifies modern man. -Nicolás Gómez Dávila
