An alternative theory is that the Twin-cest couple are actually Targarians, due to Selmer saying the mad king took liberties with Tywin's wife during the bedding ceremony at their wedding and that he was obsessed with Tywin's wife, but that seems a long shot.

Maybe Jon can also become kind of Walkutus of the Walkers and help the humans from inside the Others.

Well, we already know how the last book of R.R. Martin will end:
Spoiler:
And finally, a few weeks after defeating Danaerys and her dragons, the king of the white walkers slew the last human on Westeros.
And from then on the white walkers lived in peace and harmony on Westeros, forever and ever
The End
Tamsin (Lost Girl): "I am the Harbinger of Death. I arrive on winds of blessed air. Air that you no longer deserve."
Tamsin (Lost Girl): "He has fallen in battle and I must take him to the Einherjar in Valhalla"

I'm beginning to think maybe Martin can't handle the pressure. He was okay before when no one was paying attention to him, but now he has performance anxiety.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

Lori, yeah, he said deadlines freak him out and the closer the deadline gets the less and less work gets done. He said this has been a life long problem for him. He also said he was rewriting and changing stuff including in the Theon chapter which he had already previewed.
Hopefully it will be worth the wait though I worry about how his writing time between books seems to be getting longer and longer. We could be looking at an eight year wait for the last book.Last edited by Dinner; January 2, 2016, 15:50.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

If it's any comfort, in the work-shy layabout stakes he's way behind Thomas Harris. His gaps between books are 6 years, 7 years, 11 years, and 17 years (taking us up to 2006- not a peep since then). The genesis of the "evil Finn" concept- Evil, evil Finland
