    There was this joke where Ned Stark was compared to Al Gore;
    - Both were the right hand of a former leader of administration
    - Both can't stop talking about climate change all the time

    But just for the record: thanks to your bloody cold winter, in the States, we're having the hottest winter since like ever overhere in Europe.
    Can you please send a bit of your winter to us please, it's getting pretty boring overhere. Haven't seen any snow or frost since last February overhere!

    Summer is staying!

    I remember something about A good part of the set for Rome burning down as well, the final nail if the coffin.

    I admit I've never seen Mel Brooks' History of the World Part 1, but I believe it's more accurate.

    They were supposedly going to do the Jewish Rebellion and the destruction of the Temple Mount in season three and were working their way up to it in Season 2 but Season 2 got cut short and then the show was cancelled. Basically, it was just costing too much and ratings went down so HBO told them they had to wrap it up in two episodes when they thought they still had five episodes to go in the season.
