Actually I like Reading, never had a problem with the place and always had a good time there.

And I object to the positioning of Hull. Swindon may well be better

        So: Cardiff > Bristol > Swansea > Manchester > London > Swindon > Anyplace, UK > Hull

Still trying to figure out whether Reading comes before or after Manchester. My gut feeling would definitely suggest after...

That's where I'm from, originally. Not chav, though, obviously. A few miles south of the river.

Also, I object to the low ranking that London gets from many of you, but these things are subjective, and depend on personal preference.

The more money you have, the better London seems to be....

Well my plan is entering its final phase. My offer was accepted, deposit paid and all checks have gone through. I will begin the move on Friday, have a night out and then complete moving the rest of my stuff on Saturday/Sunday...wish me luck!

Thanks...well it is all done, the move is complete and I am now in the process of sorting everything out with the week off work I have. But everything is cool, very fancy place.

Mostly joking. I love London. I just wouldn't want to live there. But then again, I only live 25 mins away by train, quicker for me to get into Central London than it is for many who live in "Greater London" proper, so I get a lot of the benefits of London anyway.

Exactly. I grew up there, so I'd feel pretty traitorous to say I don't like it anymore.

I must say that when I visit I do get pretty nostalgic for the place - even that adrenaline rush you get when you realise you might miss your connecting train home because they think it's a good idea to take out a whole chunk of the tube network at any one time ****ing up your travel plans accordingly as you struggle to find an alternative route...
