I can't take people with non Northern US accents as seriously.
When I visit a place for a few days or longer, or hang out with a bunch of people with the same accents, I pick up on it and my accent changes. My sisters make fun of me every time I come home because I say some words funny now. And I have to go back to my professional job soon. >.<Comment
