I would have thought jobs would be a very large issue in Ontario right about now.

We want it to be warmer. Harper should mandate that the oilsands stop using natural gas for power and instead use coal. Also, shut down those hydro plants and no more nukes.

To answer your earlier question NYE, As the only alternate to Harper I am hoping for a Liberal government. I will vote for whatever non-Conservative candidate in my riding that stands the best chance of winning (NDP incumbent but pretty close 3-way race last time). The ABC movement is strong in these parts.

In what respect? Crooked lobbyists attempting to access power is a long story. I'm surprised the C-'s let him get that close and they will no doubt pay some price for it, but imho it is not symbolic of the problem with this government. They have other issues.

I'm looking forward to the debate. Harper will have to come out of his bubble for a couple hours where he will be vulnerable. Watching the polls it looks like make or break time Tuesday.

It strikes me as odd that someone who feels Harper is too tough on crime is denying redemption for someone who has completed his punishment for misdeeds.

I think the media treatment of the affair, including the focus on the young women Carson has been involved with, goes a long way to explain Harper's style of government.

In short, I think we are getting the government(s) we deserve.
