Way to **** up the facts. I attended OCS for the Marine Corps twice but was injured. The osteoporosis thing is because the second time, I was NPQ'd for stress fractures. I don't have osteoporosis.

OCS doesn't work like enlisted training does... there is no recycling. You have to re-apply when you break. I've done 14 weeks of OCS and will be going in for my third time.

Sounds like you have a severe case of pussitis.

I find it more likely that you were ****ing up in OCS anyway when you got your injury, and the Gunny that was yelling at you put a "not Marine Material" notation in your file somewhere.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

2*7 weeks is different that doing the whole thing. You are obviously not built for the army, so why not do something less stressful (like knitting)?

Any way you slice it the bottom line is he couldn't hack it and they dumped him.

No. I was a damn model candidate my second time through. I actually never got yelled at my second time, believe it or not. I was recommended by the CO, OCS to attend an abbreviated 6 week course instead of the full course but MCRC has their heads up their ass so I can't do that.

The attrition rate at OCS is 30-50%, on the higher end during the winter session which I attended. Getting injured is hardly surprising. The only thing frustrating is being on that 30-50% attrition bunch twice.

That isn't how it works. I've seen prior enlisted combat-arms Sergeants and Staff Sergeants with multiple deployments get sent home with injuries. One guy in my platoon was a Scout Sniper and he developed stress fractures and was sent home.

Any injuries that hamper training get you sent home period. Maybe some guys can get away with it by hiding their injuries but the staff will figure out something's broken before long... like when you can't run and stuff.

Any good Bayesian would tell you to update your priors with that information. What makes you think it will be different the third time around? How many more of my tax dollars need to go to supporting osteoporotics in their unrealistic dreams?

Why do you keep with this? You already know my mind is set. Why waste time typing up garbage?

How many more times will it take before your mind becomes unset?

That's a pretty wordy way to say "I can't cut it in the Marines so I'm going to stay at home and FAPFAPFAP to them".

Third time is the charm, huh?

Anyone else want to place bets that you'll make it this time?
