For all intents and purposes chemically they behave identically, radiologically they decay via differing half lives and decay mechanisms.

BECAUSE THE DIFFERENT ISOTOPES HAVE DIFFERENT PROPERTIES. SOME OF THE ISOTOPES ARE VERY RADIOACTIVE. OTHERS ARE BARELY RADIOACTIVE AT ALL.

Water and oxygen are deadly too - shall we ban the use of these substances ?
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

If you ingest enough of it, sure, but it is not going to be much different from - as we've said fifty ****ing times - mercury or lead or arsenic.

Yes. There are only the different isotopes of plutonium. There is no "plain" plutonium. Every plutonium atom is one of the different isotopes.

WTF does water and oxygen have to do with plutonium being deadly?

                          • Plain old anything, say plain old Carbon as an example is a mish mash of carbon12 carbon 14 carbon xyz etc. Plain old plutonium is a mish mash of isotopes as they would be found in nature. plutonium differs slightly in that it is man made and not naturally occurring.
